TU TAZA VALE
We promote the use of reusable cups, jugs, bottles and containers, as a good habit for you and for the environment. "Tu Taza Vale" (Your cup counts) is a simple proposal that benefits businesses and their customers.
If you take your reusable cup, as a customer you receive a discount on the product, as a store you save on disposables. And both decrease their environmental footprint and the disposables to be managed as waste.

LAS COLILLAS SON BASURA (Cigarette butts are garbage)
We seek to raise awareness about the contamination generated by cigarette butts that are thrown on the ground, and the importance of taking actions to change a reality: We find cigarette butts in every cleanup journey.
The campaign, which started in 2017 included different actions such as cigarette butt cleanups, sewer interventions, developmente of cigarette butt containers and spreading information about the impact of cigarette butts on the environment to promote changes in habits.
¿PATAGONIA O PLÁSTICO? (Patagonia or plastic?)
The global problem of single-use disposables , especially plastics, also exists in Ushuaia.
During 2017 we noticed that these elements were increasingly present in what was collected in all cleanup days.
In 2018, we promoted the passing of an ban that we believed was the initial step to start a change.
In 2019, we joined the United Nations Clean Seas Campaign and continue working to reduce the use of those products that are used only once and take centuries to degrade in the environment.
SPREAD AND ACCOMPANY
We believe that telling others what we do allows us to add volunteers to our project, and encourages other groups to start theirs.
We also join initiatives of other groups, to multiply efforts and accompany other proposals of common interest such as the bi-national claim for a Beagle Channel without salmon farms, or the request made because of the lack of environmental studies in the project known as "Corredor del Beagle" (Beagle Corridor).
